PRODUCT DETAILS
The Wera 7400 VDE is a high quality, professional screwdriver with an integrated torque adjuster that prevent overtightening, which can lead to damage of fasteners or surrounding panels. This allows the user to conform to the manufacturers individual torque setting with confidence and the interchangeable blades allow the tool to be used in multiple applications.
Adjusting the Torque Settings
The Wera 7400 VDE allows the torque to be set within 1.2Nm & 3Nm. It features a bi-direction collar that can be twisted left or right and uses markings on the shaft to signals when the desired torque settings have been achieved.
With the correct settings in place, the 7400 VDE will allow the user to confidently tighten the screw to its maximum torque and will disengage with a click. Once the screw is at the manufacturers recommended tightness, the 7400 VDE will not allow for it to be tightened further.
The 7400 VDE conforms to EN ISO 4789 and provides safe and confident use with minimal set up.
Each screwdriver blade has been individually tested in a water bath at 10,000 volts to ensure safe working at the permitted 1,000 volts.
