PRODUCT DETAILS
TUK’s contractor grade Category 8 shielded patch leads are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with the ISO and TIA standards for Cat 8. Ideal as an upgrade to Category 6A and for installation in areas that require high data transfer speeds up to 40Gbps. They feature an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath and is suitable for installation in densely populated buildings such as schools, offices and retail units where a halogen free cable is required for fire and building regulations.
Features:
- Transmission performance in compliance with the ANSI/TIA 568C.2-1 specifications for Category 8 cabling systems
- Compliant with IEC60512-99-001 – suitable for use with 4PPoE (IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE++ 100W)
- Compliant with highest current patch cord standard (i.e. Category 6A)
- Consists of 4 twisted pairs of 26 AWG screened stranded cable, so offers greater flexibility in use than 24 AWG
- Terminated with high gold plated RJ45 shielded Category 8 plug
- Individually tested
