PRODUCT DETAILS
The Ajax FireProtect 2 RB is a wireless smoke and heat sensor that is designed for instant fire detection. The unique smoke chamber does not require regular cleaning and is impenetrable to insects, and the dual-spectrum sensor distinguishes smoke from steam, making it ideal for use in kitchens or open plan properties.
Two built-in thermistors are responsible for the reaction to temperature rise. Thermistors are located outside the detector for faster threat detection. If the room temperature exceeds 64°C or increases at more than 10°C per minute, the detector recognizes this as a rapid temperature rise and raises the alarm. The temperature alarm can trigger even if there is no smoke in the room.
These RB models feature replaceable batteries which can provide up to 7 years life.
As part of the wireless Jeweller range, the FireProtect 2 RB can be used as a stand-alone product, or added to an existing Ajax alarm hub in order to receive real time notification on the Jeweller app.

| Interconnected Fire Detectors Alarms |
All fire detectors in the system turn on built-in sirens if at least one of the detectors registers an alarm. An interconnected fire alarm is activated during one “hub - detector” polling interval but no more than 20 seconds later. |
